Afritrace ALPR is designed with privacy as a core principle. The free version of our app processes all license plate recognition entirely on your device using on-device machine learning models.

• No images or plate data are sent to our servers in the free version
• All ML processing happens locally using advanced AI models
• No internet connection is required for plate recognition
• Your data stays on your device

3. Data Collection and Usage

3.1 Free Version

The free version collects minimal data:

• Local Storage: Detected license plates are stored locally on your device only
• App Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics (crash reports, performance metrics)
• Device Permissions: Camera access for plate detection

3.2 Premium Version

If you opt for remote server sync (Premium feature), the following data may be transmitted:

• Detected license plate numbers and timestamps
• Data is sent only to endpoints YOU configure
• We do not access or store this data on our servers
• You have full control over what data is sent and where

4. Subscription and Payment Data

Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not have access to your payment information. Google Play's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions. We only receive:

• Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled)
• Subscription type (monthly, yearly)
• Anonymous transaction IDs for verification
